YouTube Terminating accounts without any warning or strike and rejecting appeals
After I posted a video on my Youtube Channel I got a message from youtube saying:
Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our sex and nudity policy. We’ve removed the following content from YouTube:
We know that this might be disappointing, but it’s important to us that YouTube is a safe place for all. If content breaks our rules, we remove it. If you think we’ve made a mistake, you can appeal and we’ll take another look. Keep reading for more details.
How your content violated the policy
Graphic sexual content that is meant to be sexually gratifying is not allowed on YouTube. We review educational, documentary, artistic, and scientific content on a case-by-case basis. Limited exceptions are made for content with sufficient and appropriate context and where the purpose of posting is clear.
How this affects your channel
Because it’s the first time, this is just a warning. If it happens again, your channel will get a strike and you won’t be able to do things like upload, post, or live stream for 1 week.
What to do next
We want to help you stay on YouTube, so please:
- Make sure you understand YouTube’s Community Guidelines and strikes basics.
- Review your content with our policies in mind. If after reviewing your content you think we made a mistake, let us know. You can appeal this decision here.
The YouTube Team
YouTube account was immediately terminated
YouTube terminated my channel why they told me on the email is just a warning and a strike will be giving to me if it happened again. I went through YouTube channel community guidelines on nudity & sexual content policies and it says: Posting pornography may result in content removal or channel termination. Videos containing fetish content will be removed or age-restricted. In most cases, violent, graphic, or humiliating fetishes are not allowed on YouTube. My video has no pornography on them so why the termination. I sent an appeal robot responded to my appeal immediately saying:
Thank you for contacting us. We have carefully reviewed your account appeal.
Your account has been terminated due to repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines on Nudity and Sexual content. YouTube is not the place for nudity, pornography or other sexually provocative content. For more information, please visit our Help Centre.
We have decided to keep your account suspended. You won’t be able to access or create any other YouTube accounts. For more information about account terminations, please visit our Help Centre. To prove to you that is a robot I have a screenshots of my message to them.
After I notice it was a robot dealing with my appeal I contacted Team YouTube on Twitter and the respond was that they appreciate the follow up – mind sharing your channel URL so we can take a closer look? keep us posted. I have posted my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhxgIOPaHnqdoh3UUXpvZg) so am still waiting for their respond.
